Simon Carver and Stuart McKenzie are passionate creatives with a love of travel, exceptional food and wine, and beautifully designed spaces. In 2002, they founded Harts Lane Accommodation with a simple philosophy: to create unique holiday homes where guests feel genuinely welcomed and inspired.
More than two decades later, that vision remains unchanged. Every stay is shaped by generous hospitality, thoughtfully curated interiors, and a strong appreciation for art and design, creating a relaxing and memorable experience.
Collected artwork, furniture, and treasured objects from Simon and Stuart’s travels give each property. Harts Lane Haus, Stag & Millie’s, and Beaux Haus, its own distinctive character and atmosphere.
With over 20 years of experience in boutique holiday accommodation and more than 24 years of creating exceptional hospitality experiences and beautifully designed spaces, Simon and Stuart have welcomed countless guests, family, and friends who now consider Harts Lane Accommodation a place to return to time and time again, a true home away from home

When he’s not running his Collingwood café, South of Johnston, Stuart can usually be found building furniture, restoring vintage pieces, and sourcing unique treasures for the Harts Lane properties. His passion for craftsmanship and timeless design brings warmth, character, and individuality to every house.
