Harts Lane Haus is an architecturally renovated welsh cottage located in the heart of Daylesford & one of the town’s original cottages steeped in history. Eclectic cottage charm mixed with contemporary interior design weaves through the refined curated interior styling. Luxurious banquet seating around a large entertaining dining area & chef’s kitchen, cosy sofas and European fixtures compliment the contemporary art collection. A landscaped garden, panoramic views across Daylesford and outdoor entertaining space combine with the cosy and homely interior atmosphere of Harts Lane Haus. Homely touches such as fine bed linen, The Cottage Herbalist teas, Supreme coffee and Salus skin care and candles complete the whole holiday vibe package.

Stag & Millie’s is an architecturally designed two storey studio located next door to Harts Lane Haus with sweeping views across the valley. The 5 metre high ceiling gives the space a refined ‘warehouse’ feel. To finish the look, a comfortable Danish design sofa, Space furniture, soft cream walls and contemporary cedar shutters make you feel like you could be in a European resort. To complement the space, large artworks gives the open plan bedroom and living area a sense of intimacy and dialogue with the artists narrative which flows through the house. Outdoor entertaining spaces and gorgeous landscaped gardens surround the contemporary cube house. Homely touches such as fine bed linen, The Cottage Herbalist teas, Supreme coffee and Salus skin care set the scene for a rejuvenating holiday.

A mid-century dwelling on a large landscaped block near to Lake Daylesford filled with beautiful art, furniture, and modern conveniences, allow you to relax and take in the country air or a game of cricket in the large backyard with the family or friends. Two large outdoor areas bring the Palm Springs vibe to life whilst you shake a cocktail or two. Homely touches such as fine bed linen, The Cottage Herbalist teas, Supreme coffee and Salus skin care and candles will greet you at Beaux Haus and you will never want to leave the moody colour pallet and touches of interior styling of collected decorative objects.

Harts Lane Haus was everything we hoped for. The welcome hamper was filled with wonderful tasty treats. The beds were very comfortable and the house has plenty or room for four people to move around in. It is well situated to walk into town for that morning Cafe coffee . Being on a quiet back street made for a very relaxing feeling. We all had a perfect stay. The choice of wood burner as well as central heating would make for a perfect winter stay/not to mention floor heating in the en suites

Harts Lane Stag and Millies was absolutely incredible. A beautifully curated artistic space, in an idyllic and atmospheric location. The building, fittings and fixtures are architecturally considered, resulting in many special moments, such as enjoying verdant Daylesford from a bedroom balcony, through which dappled light pours onto the bed morning and evening. The bathroom features a stunning bath with a perfectly placed window affording sweeping views, and that retreat feel. The kitchen and lounge are magazine worthy, and the lush and leafy internal courtyard sets the scene for intimate meals and moments shared. No surface has gone without thought. Beautiful furnishings, design features and art work thought out, a stocked hidden bar in the kitchen. Every soft furnishing and or feature is of such quality, that the act of rest is elevated. The picture window in the lounge looking out over a stunning field… We didn’t want to leave. Also a very short and enjoyable walk to the Main Street. Thank you for such a beautiful weekend, made sweeter by the lovely treat box on arrival. 10/10!

Harts Lane Beaux Haus. My friend & I recently stayed here & it would have to be one of the neatest, tidiest, most comfortable places we've stayed. We spent hours just admiring the home inside. Every corner tells a story with beautiful art deco pieces or quirky fun corners. No stone was left unturned in creating this beautiful home. Close to the main street, shops, restaurants & Mill markets, such a great location. The beds were so comfy to sleep in and the fireplace was a nice relaxing edition to our weekend. Loved it

Our stay at Hart's Lane was simply unforgettable. My family and I escaped Melbourne's winter for five days, staying across all three properties. It was such a delight to spend mornings on the deck drinking coffee, afternoons strolling the town of Daylesford, and evenings preparing dinner and reclining by the fire. Each house was so well-equipped with beautiful examples of salad bowls, cutlery, coffee cups and wooden boards generously made available for our use. We've vow to return each year.
